Knit My Gift is a labour of love founded by Tim Walpole, one of the owners of Ecoknitware.
As a sister company of Ecoknitware, which manufactures ethical and sustainable knitwear for INGMARSON and other clients, we share a commitment to environmental responsibility and ethical practices.
Recently, Tim became a proud grandfather to two beautiful grandchildren, Julian and Elizabeth. Inspired by his daughter Victoria's research into the shapes and colors that stimulate newborn babies, Tim embarked on a mission to create the perfect gift for his grandchildren.
Leveraging the power of generative AI, he designed two stunning baby blankets: one adorned with 'cats and bunnies' for Julian and another featuring dinosaurs and zebras for Elizabeth.
At Knit My Gift, we believe in providing babies with more than just a blanket. We strive to create sensory experiences that stimulate their developing minds and bring joy to their early years. To ensure the utmost comfort and sustainability, our blankets are meticulously knitted with GOTS certified organic cotton.
We source our yarn from a trusted European supplier that upholds stringent sustainability and manufacturing standards, as evidenced by their prestigious GOTS certification. This international quality label guarantees that our production process is environmentally and socially responsible, and our products meet strict quality requirements.
Tim is passionate about using technology to make a positive impact on people's lives and the planet. As an advocate for sustainability and green software, he believes that by knitting just one beautiful blanket that is made ethically and sustainably, it will be treasured and handed down through generations, reducing our carbon impact on the planet.
We share Tim's vision of creating meaningful products that not only bring joy to families but also contribute to a more sustainable future. By combining craftsmanship, sustainability, and the power of technology, we deliver custom personalized baby blankets that are both beautiful and eco-friendly.
